For more than a 100 years Arrigoni is the producer of superior quality cheeses of Lombardia like the traditional Gorgonzola PDO – dolce or piccante -, Taleggio PDO, Crescenza and Quartirolo Lombardo. The Gorgonzola, the delicious blue cheese of cow’s milk from the Lombardia and Piemonte region is ideally tasted from April till September, after a maturation of min.50days for Dolce, till 80days for Piccante.
The secret of quality
Arrigoni is the winner of many competitions - 2015 & 2016 Super Gold medal award – Gorgonzola dolce PDO . Arrigoni has the control of the complete production line, from milk production – 400Ha of land and farms in Pagazzano - to the packaging of the cheeses. Part of the production is made from cows milk from biologic agriculture.
